It took the length of the Pan American Highway to find a place to rest. Countless towns, meals, campfires, and of course cervezas. It’s the beers that punctuated the adventure. And what inspired us to bring our vision of craft beer to Costa Rica and create Potrero Brewing Company – your local craft brewery in Playa Potrero.

Of all the borders crossed, Costa Rica became home. Something about the country captures the imagination. Brewing beer came naturally, so naturally beer was made. Our beers are designed for the beach, the climate, and the sun. Classic styles, seasonal recipes, and craft experiments occupy the taps. We make beer we want to drink.

Potrero Brewing Company is a brewery, community center, music venue, beer garden, and focal point located directly in the middle of the towns surrounding Bahia Potrero. We take great pride in sharing our beer and space with our friends, neighbors, and guests.

But that’s not all! We’re more than just a place to grab a cold one. Potrero Brewing Company is a hub for local artists, musicians, and anyone with a passion to share.
